We all understand the importance of Communication. Do you know what is objective of Communication?

Recently got chance to attend a webinar and learn about it......

The Intended Meaning = The perceived meaning

Is that so?

No it should measure Impact too....

The Desired Impact = The Achieved Impact

The 4 C's of Communication in Consultative Selling

Connect - Build Connect with Stakeholders.
Confer- Keep connect alive and conversation going. Discussion , understand stakeholder's goals. Keep customer's interest on top.
Converge - Generate ideas with brainstorming and conclude to common understanding. Your influencing and convincing skill sare important here as customer needs to see value in your viewpoint
Confirm - It is important that you confirm with stakeholders for thier understanding on final action items.

BIG C - Communication needs to be exactly on lines of client's need and priorities

Types of Communications

Spoken Communication - Face to Face OR Telephonic

Written Communication - Emails,

Spoken Communciation includes:

  • Speaking Skills - Very Important to havae command over language you are talking in.
  • Listening Skills - as important as above.

Benefits of Effective Communication
  • Increases Credibility
  • Creats a strong impact
  • Aloows Immidiate feedback
Is Spoken Communciation challenging? Why?
Because...its real time or may be mutiple channels....maybe....

So, let understand that the verbal and non-verbal communication both are important. Your pitch , tone , voice , body language , ALL MATTERS..........

So, learn and practice it.....


Written Communciation includes:

  • Create positive impression
  • Demonstrate your technical competence.
Is Written Communciation challenging? Why?
Because...it has high impact of errors and not real time though ...maybe....

So, let understand that the written verbal and visual (can ve aesthetic of text  or additional visual aids communication both are important.

Lets understand 7 Cs of Written Communication - Complete, Concise , Clear , Correct, Compelling  , Cnversational and Constructive....

So, learn and practice it.....

    It's good to see someone sharing knowledge through blogs. In today's India, where most of the urban jobs rely on communicating with onshore, I feel the mass lacks heavily in the required communication skills. Keep rolling out articles like this one and make sure they reach the right people.
